Energy sales
As an Independent Power Producer, in 2020 Voltalia produced and sold 2.8 TWh around the world, using its own production assets. We monetize our production through feed-in tariffs, tender-defined prices, wholesale market sales and final customer sales through Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA).
Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
The total capacity secured during 2020 was 1,028 megawatts, more than 2.6 times the already high level we achieved in 2019.
Companies that consume green electricity through Corporate PPAs represented 25% of our 2020 client base.
