Energy sales
As an independent power producer (IPP), Voltalia generated and sold approximately 4.9 TWh of renewable energy worldwide in 2025, marking continued growth compared to previous years. This represents the equivalent of the electricity consumption of over 5 million people.We monetize our production through a diversified mix of mechanisms, including feed-in tariffs, tender-based contracts, wholesale market sales, and long-term agreements with corporate clients through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are long-term contracts through which a producer agrees to supply electricity to a client, such as a company or a utility, at predefined conditions, typically ensuring price stability and long-term visibility for both parties.
Voltalia continues to expand its portfolio of Power Purchase Agreements, reflecting its international footprint and diversified client base. In 2025, 14% of Energy Sales contracts were signed with corporate clients, while 86% were concluded with utility companies.
Geographically, 71% of contracts were signed in Africa and Uzbekistan, and 29% in Europe, highlighting the Group’s strategic focus on high-growth markets.
