ESG performance

Convinced that extra-financial performance is a lever for attracting responsible investment, Voltalia actively participates in evaluations by the most demanding ESG rating agencies, which attest to its overall CSR performance as well as the transparency and maturity of its policies and associated indicators.

Each year, Voltalia participates in the rating campaigns presented below, based on extra-financial data from the previous year. For example, a rating obtained in 2024 will relate to the 2023 financial year.

The Sustainalytics rating focuses on environmental and social (E&S) risk management. The closer the score is to 0, the more likely it is that the company has a low exposure to E&S risks and that they are well managed.

The assessment's summary report emphasizes that Voltalia's ESG risk management is strong, demonstrating the effectiveness of its sustainable approach to business.

The rating has recently decreased due to significant updates in the assessment methodology. In a context where companies are constantly improving the management of their extra-financial risks, Sustainalytics has tightened the criteria requirements for all issuers, making them increasingly demanding. These adjustments are designed to guarantee more robust and reliable results, in line with best practices in the sector and changes in the socio-economic context.
