Lercera

The photovoltaic plant in Lercara Friddi, in the province of Palemo, has a nominal capacity of 3.37 MW and consists of 5,616 modules with a capacity of 545 Wp, installed on a fixed structure.

The project obtained authorization for construction and operation through Single Authorization and Environmental Impact Assessment issued by the Sicilian Region in 2020.

The project was fully developed and constructed by Voltalia Italia, and is scheduled to enter operation in November 2024.

This is an agricultural land with a total extension of about 6 HA that has a regular orographic structure and is mostly flat.

 

The connection to the power grid is through a 100 m overhead line, in-out on the MT Rocca line.
